Pál Fried, Hungarian-born American painter, a well-known hungarian painter of the 20th century whose art is mostly associated with female portraits and figurative painting. In Fried’s works one can easily trace the typical features of the French Impressionist School of Renoir and Degas.
Apart from portraits, Freid also painted landscapes, seascapes and views of Paris.
After his post-war immigration to the United States, Fried opened a new
chapter in his creative life by painting cowboys and typical landscapes of the American West.
