Rob is a fourth generation artist. After four decades of painting, in 2007, he opened Hartshorn
Studios , an arts collaborative, devoted to painting, portraiture and photography. He has found success in simply painting and continuing to share the techniques that others have shared with him.[no-sidebar]
employs acrylic medium for abstracts. Extensive glazing is his method. His palette is extremely
spare but complete. For inspiration Rob explores the endless nuances of figure poses and works with
live models.
